Maff Brown is returning the year to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival (after his debut 2010 show Looking After Lesal) with a concept that he has been pondering and building up over the year, giving it lots of thought and consideration, just being funny. Just stand-up. Jokes and gags. 50 minutes of stuff that will make you laugh.
Maff’s eclectic comedy CV has seen media appearances ranging from BBC6 Music to BBC 2’s Lead Balloon via warming up BBC 2’s Shooting Stars.
He is what is known as a comedian’s comedian, but that doesn’t mean you won’t like him, it just means that they have some really nice things to say about him…
“I think Maff Brown is very funny” Stephen Merchant.
“Maff is one of those comics that doesn’t need to try. Jokes fall out of him” Frank Skinner
“I’d sit near the exit if I were you” Jack Dee
“Brilliant stand-up. Great material” Bill Bailey
And look, here is some evidence that he actually knows Stephen Merchant
