Slightly Belated Farewell

The Fringe has now been over for a full week and all the craziness and comedy is fading into memory like some bizarre dream.

EdCom would like to say a formal thank you to the two fabulous venues who hosted our acts, The Pleasance and The Gilded Balloon, they were amazing and helpful and accommodating and we couldn’t have done it without their amazing staff.

And of course a massive congratulations to our acts for completing the run, getting some fabulous reviews, great numbers and being consistently hilarious!

To see more from the acts in the future click their names below to take you to their own websites,

ED2012 Comedy Review: David O’Doherty – Seize the David O’Doherty (EdCom Productions)

Another slightly whimsical show from O’Doherty, who says himself that his show is about ”depression that ends in murder, but I couldn’t put that on the flyer”. Following his relationship break-up he gets into a bit of a mess and, punctuated by songs and his ”three” jokes (I’m sure I counted many more), his show documents this turbulence. You can’t help feel that there is still some sadness there and that makes his night feel a bit closer to home for the audience. The main narrative has a few deviations (such as a song about sex tips), which give the show that disorganised feel he is famous for. It is a lovely set that can’t help but please.

Pleasance Courtyard, 1-27 Aug (not 13), 7.20pm.
